About the Collection
The fashion show started at 9:00 PM. People applauded as the first piece was presented on the circular runway. The collection was mainly composed of a mixture of Gold, Silver, and Red colors, with a little details of shiny and reflective materials. As per details, it was a definition of an avant garde fashion, from up-do hairs and unconventional head pieces. Observing the models while walking the circular runway, they each have a movement to execute according to what they are wearing. Libiran called this the Phoenix Collection because it mirrors the rise of a phoenix symbolizing transformation and rebirth. Miss Universe Philippines 2021 Beatrice Luigi Gomez and Miss Cebu City Chantal Elise Legaspi-Schmidt were spotted on the runway as well. As the closing piece walked out, feathers started to fall out in the function room, depicting that the designer will walk together with the closing piece. Host Tim Yap came out and introduced Mr. Francis Libiran and his newest collection, proceeding for Tim to raise a toast in celebration of the newly-released collection and 25th anniversary of Libiran in the industry.

Francis Libiran is a renowned Filipino fashion designer that was featured on Tyra Banks’ reality-TV show “America's Next Top Model.” Libiran is not just a designer, but a licensed architect as well. Back in 2019, Libiran also designed a modern barong for our Filipino athletes who competed in Southeast Asian Games here in the Philippines. Now, he celebrates his 25th Year Anniversary making a mark and legacy for the arts and craftsmanship of Filipinos.
